The Color of Us

We read The Colors of Us by Karen Katz in honor of the MLK holiday. We celebrated our colorful classroom and marveled in the fact that our classroom is the very epitome of Dr. King's dream:

I have a dream that one day my four children will be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.

Thank you, Dr. King, for what you did to help us to learn together. Grow together. Play together. Love together. Be together.
