We are studying data. In order to study data, we had to collect some data. In order to collect data, we had to decide on a collection tool. In order to decide on a collection tool, we needed to decide on what to collect data on that was exciting. We chose shoes: sandals, fancy shoes, tennis shoes, or boot.
We collected data on fifth and sixth graders during their lunch. Some of the staff members also contributed their votes, like Mrs. Lewis, here.
Once we had our data, we had to tabulate the data.
In case you were wondering, tennis shoes was the clear winner. Do you have any theories as to the reason for this result?
