We practice the Navigator Way here at Emerald Park Elementary.
The fabulous, Mrs. Hurt, our counselor, and her friends Kelso and Flopy Jay help us learn how to make good choices when things don't go our way.
Here are some of some good choices we can make when things don't go our way:
Go to another game.
Share and take turns.
Talk it out.
Walk away.
Ignore it.
Tell them to stop.
Apologize.
Make a deal.
Wait and cool off.
Kelso and Flopy Jay help us learn to decide if we have a little problem that we can solve ourselves or a big problem which we need adult help to solve.
