Adam is reminding us of the layers of the rain forest.
Two tour guides teach compare and contrast the tropical and temperate rain forests.
Anmol knew the first layer of the tropical rain forest was the forest floor.
So he became the forest floor.
Next came the understory.
Then the canopy layer.
Aaron made a great canopy tree.
Ruby from Ms. Estelle's class joined Aaron.
Then Aira became the emergent layer.
Aira shows off her buttress roots which help hold some of the forest floor in place.
