In our classroom, we like to celebrate birthdays.
Each student comes in to the classroom to find this waiting for him/her.
A huge card signed by us all, a sticker to wear announcing the birthday, a crown to make it official, a pencil to get to the point, and a book mark to keep one's place in a favorite book.
Sometimes, students bring treats for their friends. We also love to accept a book for our classroom library.
